Bud Malmstrom - Director of Operations
Bud joined the US Marine Corps in 1969. While serving he was awarded 3 meritorious promotions and was discharged in 1973 as an E-5 sergeant. He attended Georgia State University and attained a BA in Accounting in 1980.
Mr. Malmstrom began his martial art training in 1976. Currently he conducts martial art seminars domestically and abroad for martial art groups, law enforcement and security personnel. He attended a Georgia Police Academy receiving his certification as a law enforcement officer, Defensive Tactics and Firearms Instructor and his SWAT qualification.
Bud has owned and operated several businesses of the past 30 years including a martial art weapons manufacturing company. He has experience, training and background in a variety of fields from Executive Protection details in third world countries to Project Management for IT companies before joining BARIndustries as Director of Operations.
Glenn H. Wright - President and Owner
In 2001 Glenn was brought on board as Chief Engineer for a major Hospital in North Georgia. During his service there, Glenn invented the SK1000U (now called The Buttress - click for more) Toilet Support due to the growing need for the Bariatric patient bathrooms.
In December of ’03 BARIndustries, Inc. was born. Glenn holds two U.S. Patents and one Canadian Patent. He is currently working on numerous projects that will utilize the metal fab shop for continued growth for new products that will employ more Americans in the near future.
Glenn has been a member of various Plumbing, Engineering, and Building Code Associations such as ASPE, ANSI, and ICC. Glenn is also on the Board of Directors for www.redfeather.org Glenn challenges all Hospital Groups, Nurses, Bariatric Surgeons, Engineers, Architects, and Plumbing Wholesale/Distributors to help fund raise or at least donate to their cause.
